Frequently Asked Questions

  • Unfortunately, because aesthetics procedures are considered elective procedures, insurance does not cover them. We can provide an insurance reimbursement form for treating medical conditions such as migraines and TMJ. We have sunscreens that may be purchased using an FSA/HSA account.

  • We are proud to offer complementary new client consultations with Dr. Bauer, as it is our goal to get to know you and understand your values and aesthetic concerns before we make any treatment recommendations.

  • No! We love to educate our patients and discuss the various treatment options that are available to help with patients’ aesthetic concerns. We use a team-based approach, and tailor your treatment plan together with you, for the best experience and results.

  • Depending on the treatment, clients may experience mild to moderate discomfort during treatment. To make treatment as comfortable as possible, we offer topical numbing for up to 45 minutes prior to each treatment. Dr. Bauer can also perform local nerve blocks with an injectable numbing solution for further reduction in discomfort. We also employ the use of nerve-distraction techniques, all within t e calm and comfortable setting of our treatment room.

  • With over a decade of medical expertise, Dr. Bauer only offers treatments that are evidence-based and have medical literature and studies to support their benefit. We’d love to discuss this more with you at your next consultation!

  • For your first visit, we start with a few forms to collect some basic information on your health, skin, skincare, and preferences. You can fill these out while enjoying a complementary snack and beverage, such as coffee, tea, or a seltzer. Then, you will sit with Dr. Bauer to discuss your aesthetics history and concerns. After he performs a facial analysis and exam, he will discuss his recommendations with you, explaining each treatment option and answering any questions you may have. Depending on your preferences, we can then move on to your first treatment at that time, or we can get you scheduled for your first treatment before you leave.
